I work in the Centre for Advanced Microscopy at the University of Reading. My personal research interests mainly involve the application of high-resolution TEM to carbon materials. I also work as a consultant in microscopy and nanomaterials, and have written a book on Carbon Nanotubes for Cambridge University Press . I would be glad to correspond on any aspect of nanotubes

I am a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Institute of Physics,

and I am on the Editorial Advisory Boards of the Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter and Carbon.

I live in Twyford just outside Reading.
