RJM's Demo of Robot Moving on Surfaces with different Friction and Steepness
Friction slows the Robot, and the steeper the slope, the more the robot's weight slows it down.
With no control, you specify the voltage applied to the motors, and see that the robot's speed is affected.
With speed control, you specify the desired speed : which is typically less than the voltage set with no control.
With simple control you should see the speed is less affected by the friction and surface slope.
With advanced control, there is no noticeable change in speed.
At the end of the run, you will see a graph showing how the actual speed varies with time.
