RJM's Demo of The Circular Function Sin as relating to Systems
As shown in Sin And Circle one complete cycle of a sinusoid can be modelled as going round a circle
Also Sin AndRC shows if a sinusoid is input to a system, its output is a sinusoid of the same frequency
The output amplitude and the phase between input and output are found by modelling the system by a complex number and using its modulus and phase
This page allows you to use sliders to change the amplitude, phase and frequency of the sinusoidal current into a system, and
when you stop moving a slider, the input current and output voltage sinusoids are drawn both as plots versus time, and moving round the circle.
